About the event


“Basics of Nonprofit Fundraising” is a 5 week live learning online course by Own2Feet Association to help existing or aspiring fundraisers learn the absolute basics of fundraising in depth. This course is open to anyone who wishes to learn fundraising. You can a founder, board member, fundraiser, student, consultant, intern or even a volunteer. The course will be delivered in English, and the trainers are fluent in Kannada and Hindi.


This course is designed based on the experience and learning of the trainers who have themselves been fundraisers for nonprofits. Additionally, Own2Feet has worked with numerous nonprofit partners and has identified the most common challenges as well as best practices in fundraising.



Course duration and Format

  • Duration - 5 weeks | August 18th, 2025 to September 15th, 2025

  • Evening classes on Mondays & Thursdays

  • 90 minute sessions - 6 to 7.30 pm

  • Includes : Live lecture, Dedicated Q&A time

FAQs


Are the trainers experienced in fundraising?

Our trainers come with a strong fundraising and capacity building background. They have raised 10 cr+ for previous organizations they have worked with and through Own2Feet, have helped founders of small nonprofits mobilize funds as well.


Do I need prior experience?

Not at all! This is a beginner friendly course designed to build absolute basics.


Can multiple employees from the same organization participate?

Yes! We also provide group discounts to teams of 4 or more. Please reach out to us at the email or phone provided below to get a custom quote for your organization


I want to do both basic and advanced courses. Are there any discounts available for that?

Yes! We have a bundle discount of 18% for participants signing up for both courses. You can buy the bundle package here. Please note you can only avail one type of discount at a time (Early Bird or Bundle or Group)


Will recordings be available?

No. There will be no recordings provided to participants for missed sessions. This is a live-only course


Can I get a certificate?

Absolutely! Every participant who has attended at least 75% of the course will be issues a certificate of completion by Own2Feet


Refund and Cancellation

Registrations to this course can be cancelled on or before 5th August, 2025 to get a 90% refund(deductions made to account for gateway/transaction charges). There will be no refunds to any cancellation done post August 5th, or once classes start
